I just signed-on and rallied a crew (wife still doesn't do boats!). Looking forward to seeing everyone again after the short winter break. Last year this run was the first I had made with the C-Brats and it sold me on the whole idea of running with fellow owners. Last year we put in at Brownsville after work Thursday evening and spent the night at Blake Island. That made for a nice evening and a great start on the run Friday morning to the Cove. If anyone is interested in meeting again this year at Blake Is we could put something of a "pre-function" together and stretch the weekend a bit. |

Doug, That is a good idea. Blake thurs night, then convoy to Jarrell Cove. I'll have to think about that. I will either do that, or go directly to JC on thurs afternoon/evening. I do enjoy Blake in the winter. Not crowded, and all the wonderful trails and beaches to walk. Nice island. Robbi _________________ 2023 C-Dory 23 Venture Sport

Took a drive down to Jarrell Cove today to check things out. What a beautiful day. The state park has upgraded the picnic area where we gather above the dock. There is a brand new super big barbeque (it has never been used!) that we can use. If anyone wants to grill for the potluck, bring your charcoal! Two new picnic tables are in the shelter and the fire pit is ready for the warming evening fires.
I am getting excited!
Robbi
PS stopped by my favorite cutthroat spot on the way, and C&Red two nice ones. First ones of the year. |

No problem, Blue~Ken. Southern California and western Washington permanently switched weather patterns. Expect centuries of sunshine.

ALLRIGHT, does this mean that we'll see less of the one piece, wool swimsuits that are so popular in the NW and more bikinis?...I better work on cultivating the surfer dude look |

Lets bring this puppy up to the top again! With Cornet Bay upon us, can Jerrell's Cove be far behind? We will be looking for a boat to hitch a ride on...not sure exactly where we will be spending the night, either - suggestions welcomed (a tent is a possibility but a DISTINCT last choice these days...) _________________

Pat, If I had a 22 or 25 you certainly would be welcome aboard. I think the nearest place to stay besides the state park would be Shelton, probably 15 to 20 miles away. I don't know anyone who lives on, or has a summer home on Hartstene. Maybe someone here does. I will research a B@B Who knows. Have fun up North this weekend. Robbi |

Looks like at least eight boats are attending, including two I've not met. Mr. E's C and Maria Consuelo on Baboy, glad you can attend. |

Enjoying the unusually warm weather for this time of year? A treat for sure for you Northwest types! The same for us down here in Northern California---80 degrees yesterday in Redding. Time for shorts, t-shirts and patio (pontoon) boats. Have a great get together! Joe. _________________ Sea Wolf, C-Brat #31
