this falls into the "why didn't I do this sooner" catagory, I got a fish bag from Boaters World. This thing is an insulated 22"x 66" vinyl bag ya throws yer fish in. I'll hang it across the back of the cockpit and leave the big cooler in the truck....it will be so nice to not have to dance around that cooler during the netting frenzy _________________ Ken

Lot's of good advice here Lyle . I agree with not spending alot on the pole and making sure you have a quality reel.
Thought I'd chime in on other necessities like; a nice big net, don't skimp here, nothin' worse than losin' that trophy cuz you had a cheap and/or small one. A good hook release tool for letting those natives go without taking them out of the water. A safety ladder for those unexpected Jaque Cousteau (sp) moments. Digital camera for postin' pictures for the Pub to see.
