Happy birthday Dr. Bob. I turned 69 today. Wish we were there but we are doing the Rideau Cannel system and won't be back in the states for another couple of weeks. We'll be in Marathon by Nov. first. If you get down there let us know. We'll be at Banana Bay. Safe cruising.

Hi Bob,

Congratulations on 79!

We plan on being there like last year to enjoy everyone's company and the beauty of Oak Canyon. We don't know what day we will get in since we are going to take the long route from the Denver area and launch at Waheep vs. Bullfrog. We hope to take in Mesa Verde National Park on the way out. We have lived a very long time in Colorado and have never visited the park.

If you get a cell tower signal lets us know how the fishing is. I know Marie likes to have a line in the water around the campsite. Last year it seems like no matter where we went the fishing was very slow. The reports around Colorado is that the State Health Dept has been doing testing around Durango on fish they have pulled from the Animas and report that metals in fish tissue are below detectable levels.
