Great site - great forums!

I have a 32' Express Cruiser currently on the hard as moorage is a big problem in Vancouver BC. The trailerability (?) of the R25 and the fact that the visibility is great (my kids seem to do fine below when cruising but I've yet to find an adult who can last a minute without coming up for air, to put it politely) make it worth a serious look. The R25 is slower but the logs come up pretty quick at 30knots.

I have 3 kids 10, 8, 7. How do you work the sleeping arrangement?

Anyone know where I can look inside one in the Vancouver area? I contacted a dealer in Port Alberni but have not had a reply.

Thanks in advance, DaveH

Dave --- The R25 is a near perfect boat for the two of us. If you can't find a boat near Vancouver let me know. We would love to show you ours. We are just down the road in Anacortes. I'm trying to picture overnighting in the boat with three active boys. You are younger and more flexible so the judgement is yours. I doubt that my brother and I would have survived at that age. Between the v-berth, table, and the "mother-in-law apartment" there is lots of sleeping room. But you would lose a large part of the storage. If you would like to see our boat just click on the "PM" button and we can figure out a time and day.

Someone else on another thread asked the question but I will answer it here: In our first 50 hours we averaged 2.1 gallons of fuel per hour at about 8 knots.

Cary

You'll just have to book a trip and come to the Seattle Boat Show! I understand they will have two locations set up - one in the water and one at Quest Field. Then, I'm sure you could arrange to visit us (South Whidbey) or Cary (Anacortes) if you want a ride....

I was just at the Factory today - they were building hull 75. Sure looks nice....

I would think that two boys in the "quarter berth" under the table, and one on the table would work well for sleeping.

Thanks everyone. It looks like they are coming to the Vancouver boat show in February so I'll throw all the kids in and see how it goes.

Cheers. Dave
