One of my boat projects for the coming year is to install a potable water tank drain. Since the MOOSE is rarely on a trailer, draining the tank between trips is somewhat tedious. The stainless coupling will be installed with 5200 in the cabin drain which will have to be bored out to one inch to accomodate it. The nylon hex plug has been fitted with a 3/4" rubber grommet to act as a gasket and to make it easy to install and remove the plug by hand. I'm going to be installing a second bilge pump in the transom depression so this will evacuate the drained water.
