This past Thursday we made our way to Coronet Bay to pick up our new CD-25. At the Port Townsend Ferry terminal we had a chance to meet and talk with Doug (Liberty Call). What a nice skipper and fine looking 22 cruiser.
Friday was delivery day and what a thorough sea trial and complete orientation Les Lampman provides (six hours he spent with us). While we were at the dock, we briefly met and chatted with Brock who was heading for the gathering at Lopez.
Price and options were never in question and there are no nickel and dime add ons at the last minute. The quality of work that this business provides is second to none. From engines to Autopilot, everything was installed with care and worked well. With all that Les provides (competitive pricing, unmatched service, free professional technical advice), why buy anywhere else. We highly recommend E.Q. Marine to anyone interested in a new C-Dory. This is the best business that we've ever dealt with.
We look forward to meeting more of you at future cruises. _________________ Jerry and Helen

Great to hear about other good dealers on here.
fiddlersgreen6 - if you know Steve and Mick, feel free to encourage them to participate here. Dealer input is always welcome and valuable. They (and any other dealer) are welcome to list their new/used inventory in our Dealer Sales Forum.
And, if any of you dealers out there are "Internet challenged", don't be shy - drop me an email or a PM (private message - click the PM button in this post), and I'll be glad to help you post your inventory list. _________________

Yesterday was launch day for Two Lucky Fish!
The crew at EQ did a great job outfitting and preparing our C Dory 22, and they made launch day a very enjoyable event. I'm still amazed at the details that were already finished - like having all the forms filled out, complete with serial numbers/model numbers, and everything installed and working. No unpleasant surprises at the last minute. I don't ever remember anyone ever taking me out on a new boat purchase and demonstrating all the equipment (radar, gps, autopilot, chart, depthsounder, engine flowmeters, kicker, etc) and even operating the electric windlass (decadent I know, but I am retired!). And I'm not likely to forget running Deception pass at full ebb (and coming back in thru Canoe pass). And the extra touches - complete with Kathy's carving, C-Dory Hats, Champagne & Goblets. Wow.
Many thanks to the crew at EQ, and our highest recommendations for anyone looking for a quality outfitter.

Awright!! So, I take it the wait was worth it??
Got any pictures yet? If you look at your info to the left of your message posts, you'll find a link to your new album.
Congratulations on your new boat, and it is great to hear how well you were treated by your dealer. The thing is about those EQ folks, they're just as nice even if you don't buy anything from them.
We all sure hope to meet you at one of the shindigs soon and often! _________________ TyBoo Mike

Thanks for setting up the album. It was easy to do. I posted some pics of TwoLuckyFish under construction and will add finished pics as soon as I can download them from Linda's camera.
We're already really pleased with the boat - yes - it was worth the wait - especially to provide time for the crew at EQ to work their magic. We had a few too many T-Storms today so we didn't launch, but we're looking forward to cruising and fishing here in Puget Sound ( we live in Clinton).

Good question, Dave -
We haven't tried yet, but are planning to launch at Possession Shores. The ramp is paved all the way to 0 ft, so I think it will work as long as the tide is + 2 or 3 feet. There is a lot of sand on the ramp, and it can only handle 1 boat at a time. Plus, you can't park there over night so we will have to run the trailer home (we're within walking distance of Dave Mackie County Park - in Maxwelton) when leaving on the trips. We'll find out soon whether it works - or not. At high tide, we can launch at the County Park, but as soon as the tide goes out a few feet, it won't work. We're hoping to get a lot at Sandy Hook and leave the boat in the water, but haven't succeeded yet.

Well, Kate and I are ready to start discussions on a 25 to replace our 22. But seems that Les has flushed his email addresses. Probably for good reason as it take an incredible amount of time to answer all those questions.
So .........Les you have our email address. Time to start talking about supersizing. Right, Dave?
Don't know exactly when this will happen, but we need to start putting together the folder for future action. _________________ David and Kate

David, what is driving your decission to upgrade to a 25. I know there is a lot more room aboard or is it the head? Just wondering, after cruising for over 2 weeks with Robbin we talked about how nice it would be if we had some more room.

Les axed his e-mail address 'cause too many hackers got into it (not customers) . I don't think Les has logged into the website in many months since they have been so busy taking care of all of us!...
