Greetings to all,
1989 16ft angler
I am looking to upgrade my 40 Johnson to a Yamaha or Honda.
Will I need to redrill the transom mounting holes?
thanks,
Psfixit

paulus,

Most likely you'll have to redrill some holes. Just seal the old holes with epoxy and filler first, then start as if new.

I have had Merc, Honda and Yamaha on my CD 22 Still using the same 4 holes Mr. Green Beer Depends on the age of the Johnson. Upon further review(CRS set in) The lower holes I reused, had to fill the two uppers and redrill Mr. Green Beer
