In April 2007 we start our Expedition in a C-Dory 22 Boat from Fort McMurray
We go down the Athabasca River to the Lake Athabasca. We then circumnavigate the Lake and go down the Slave River to the Great Slave Lake. We will circumnavigate the Great Slave Lake. After that we go down the Mackenzie River to the Great Bear River, up the River to the Great Bear Lake. If the weather will allow it, we than circumnavigate the Great Bear Lake. After that we go back to the Mackenzie River via the Great Bear River and down the Mackenzie River to Tuktoyaktuk on the arctic ocean and back to Inuvik, from there we go up the Mackenzie River to Hay River on the Great Slave Lake, our final destination, by mid October. __If we have time we also go to Aklavik and Herschel Island.
The whole trip will be approximately about 7 Month (April - October) and maximum 8000 kilometers long. |
