Why buy a C-Dory? Relaxation as best described by El and Bill in Halcyon Days (a favorite web site of mine): http://www.geocities.com/bill_fiero/relax.htm

While I am sad to sell this beautiful C-Dory, she deserves an Owner who will use her more often than I have been able to. My
charter fishing business (http://www.floundergigging.com) has gotten to the point where I am doing so many charters, at times two charters per night,
that I don't have the time or energy to use this fine boat as often as I would like. I hope the new owner will enjoy her as much as I have.

I don't know how to add to the for sale ad so I'm going to post a reply to to add additional information and include some outing pictures so hopefully it will not offend anyone:

* The 90 HP 4-Stoke Suzuki outboard motor is fuel-injected. You do not choke the motor before or when initially starting for these outboards. It will cold start right up and purs like a sewing machine. On another boat, I currently have a 2000 Honda four-stroke 90 hp carburated model and my previous 22' C-Dory Cruiser had a 1998 Honda 75 hp carburated model. I like the fuel-injected Suzuki outboard much better even though Hondas are great outboards but that is just my opinion.

* I have both sets of original keys to the boat including the cabin door lock and ignition keys.

* I have all manuals to the boat including the C-Dory manual, the Suzuki manual and the equipment manuals.

If I bought this C-Dory for ten thousand dollars more than I have, how would I get it to California?

Smokey..yes! Fire north of Reno near Susanville. Road trip? I'm scheduled to sail under the Golden Gate Bridge to Cabo on the 15th of Oct. the Baha Haha. Plan to stay in Mexico til spring. Coming home at Christmas and back after the New Year. Are you looking for a 25' Dory? I know of a really nice one for much less than $76,000 in the Pacific North West.

Hi Steve..... I totally undersatand about getting the heck out of here during the winter..... as soon as it gets cold I leave too....plus next month is the Santa Barbara Festival....would not want to miss that...

No I best not look at any 25' boats.... that is, while I am still married...if I want to stay married... besides I really like my 22' ..... it would be nice to have the extra room of the 25'...... and a shower...but heck I am not modest so the ole solar shower will do fine fer now....

Thank you to all who have inquired about and/or left nice comments about Blue Manatee.

I forgot to mention that there are two (2) Guest Double-Battery Chargers onboard. They are mounted in the cabinet under the sink and Wallis heater/stove. A few more pics are enclosed including the recent rear-opening screened door window.

Blue Manatee has been sold.

The new Owners are Sue and Bill of Durango, Colorado. They are very nice and a pleasure to work with. I wish them many happy years of enjoyment on Blue Manatee as they cruise the waters of beautiful Lake Powell.

CaptMac, I live in St Marys GA just across river from you and have been thinking about a 22 C-Dory for myself and Wife.

I know you sold yours so I am looking for some feedback from a local area person who has owned and operated on in and around our area. Any feedback you can provide me would be greatly appreaciated e.g., pilot house temp without AC, launch and recovery ease, docking (solo) ease of operations and anything else you an think of.

PS nice website on the Flounder Gigging.

Chuck
