DICKNBUNNY-
Most folks with the CD-16 seem to feel that a Permatrim hydrofoil is all that is necessary to get their boat trimmed.
Apparently, the lateral trim provided by trim tabs isn't necessary on the 16 due it's narrower nature and it's interior seating layout, which tends to keep passenger loads balanced, unlike the larger 22 and 25 where passenger overloading on the dinnette side causes problems that need to be trimmed out.

I had a permatrim on my 16 and for lateral trim I simply moved my cooler from side to side. _________________ marvin |

Probably not necessary, but there are times when I would like to have them to try. |
