New boat should be delivered next week. I've got the electronics sitting in the garage begging to be installed.
While going through the various installation manuals I see that the S1000 requires a GPS antenna connection. I'm not quite sure how to interface this with the Furuno 1920c chartplotter. The plotter will have a Furuno GPS antenna connected. Is there a split cable that goes from the GPS receiver to both devices?
Anyone solve this already? _________________ Rick & Shirley

I installed a Raymarine autopilot and a JRC GPS/chartplotter/radar. The ST600 autopilot accepted NMEA 0183 input and the JRC chartplotter/etc. output the same. NMEA 0183 is an industry standard, used to connect different brands, and is a simple 2 wire connection. Don't forget to connect your VHF radio to the GPS. 0183 will do fine for that, too.
