Hey Folks,
The C-Brats site is great -keep up the good work. I saw the R 21 this past weekend at the AC in-water show. Very nice. Although I realize that this is a new model that is designed for cruising, has anyone heard anything about the Ranger people producing a "fishing friendly" model? I think this would be a great platform for fishing with just a few angler options, e.g., livewell, raw water washdown, larger engine, etc. For those of you in the know, how would the price be effected if they offered a larger diesel engine, say something in the 50 or 60 hp range? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

When we ordered ours, the raw water washdown was an option. As far as a larger engine, we didn't ask, but there is one for sale in the C-Brat used section that has a 40hp Volvo. A live bait well should be pretty easy to mount under the rear seat. It is a very large area. Jeff was also willing to wire for downriggers, etc. You will find the factory folks very willing to try and help you get the boat you want. They aren't a cookie cutter mentality builder. Just give them a call and tell them what you want.

Denny-Thanks for the reply. It is good to know that the folks at Ranger are flexible when it comes time to rig a boat. I sent an e-mail directly to Ranger with similar questions. I will post the response when I receive it. Thanks again.
