Does anyone know whether gas in Canada is blended (or infected) with ethanol. I am cruising the Rideau in less then a month and would like to avoid mixing different blends of gas.
Thanks for any info.

Gas in Canada is not infected. You have to go to specific stations to get ethanol here.\ |

Ken - We recently cruised the Rideau from Kingston to Ottawa and then down the ottawa river to Montreal. We're now on the St Lawrence near the 1000 islands on our way back to Kingston. ETHANOL was no where to be found at the marinas we visited. However gas was about 5$ a gallon! Its been a great trip and we know you'll enjoy the Rideau. Have fun. Al&Linda |

We're cruising from the Soo Locks to the Trent-Severn Canal. We buy our gas at the highway pump, where it costs $3.70 to $4.00/gal (US.) The label is: "May contain up to 10% ethanol."
For whatever it's worth.
