Anyone know how thick the cabin top is on a CD 22? It's a '94 if that makes any difference. The boat is 90 miles away and I've got to buy through bolts to mount a radar tower near the front on the centerline and want to make sure they're long enough, but not too long. Will probably use acorn nuts on the inside.

As far as I know all the roofs are uncored fiberglass so something like <1/4 inch. I'd use long bolts and use a dremel tool to cut off excess bolt.

Thanks Dennis. I think it's got a core in it, I've stood on the top (200+ pounds) and it didn't flex. I will get long bolts though, I've got one of those roto-zip tools with a cutting wheel and can trim.

Thanks Ken. Looks like 1" SS bolts will do it then.
