I am hoping to install an in hull transducer in our C-Ranger 21. Is the hull solid fiberglass and is there a "best" place to put the puck?

I think solid glass, Tugly. I know my Ranger is and they mounted the transducer inside. I personally don't think it is as good as a through hull now that it is done. But it is easy to change. They put it right in the middle of what little storage I had under deck on the port side. I have 5 through hulls right now and I think that is more than enough.

Got this reply from Jeff Messmer: " The hull is solid fiberglass. We mount the in hull transducer in the stbd v-berth storage compartment just forward of the pilot seat foot rest."

Installed Garmin 200/50KHz transducer in starboard compartment about 12 inches off center. Works very well with the Garmin 440S.
