Swinomish Channel, if you are not familiar with it, can run a pretty good tide. No problem with our power boats, but sometimes a little tricky tying off in LaConner. The low today will be about 1330 on a negative 2.2 foot tide, so might time about then for slack water to make tying easier, or head to Anacortes where there should be no problem.
Have a great trip. Our plans aren't fixed, so will call and see how things look. _________________ El and Bill (former live-aboards)

Quick update:
Hardee - sorry, Gigi is firmly part of the family. We had some rough times, especially getting the boys to sleep the first night, but overall the trip was a success. We're already planning our next boating adventure.
El and Bill - thank you so very much for meeting us at Blakely Island. We had a wonderful visit and hope to meet again soon...possibly Bellingham if I can make it.
Barry of C-Cakes - Your visit was a very pleasant surprise. Great seeing you again.
Patty of Daydream - It was our honor to be part of your first solo boating adventure. Also, great talking with you.
Susan and Tom of Susan E - great having you guys around. Really enjoyed our conversations and again, it was our honor to be part of Susan's solo adventure.
We also met 'Ed on Rambler' while in Friday Harbor and saw C-Dancer on our way home.
While on our trip we saw orcas and an eagle and got to walk around Jones Island and the boys got to "throw rocks in the wawa," which was easily the most exciting thing for them.
thanks everyone, _________________ -Sarge
