I trailer my 22 infrequently but am looking to do a little more - the Honda book for my 90 suggests using a brace when trailing the boat - I suspect to minimize strain on the transom.

This recommendation is something most of you do? if so what brand of brace did you use and where did you purchase it?

Your questions were answered very well in a recent thread titled "Towing with motors up or down". This is the most recent thread in the forum index section "Trailers and Towing" or maybe someone else can better answer your questions now.
