Consider how funny that was, I can't see him calling you the customer from hell...

More like the customer from the comedy channel?

So, I wonder if I can lift myself out of the water using the power trim/tilt?
That would be cool. And I have a valid excuse, too. (partial spinal
cord injury). A friend has a large boat with a power swim platform for
launching jet skis. It's nice to lower it to the proper depth and hang out on.

Laughing I can relate. I knew virtually nothing about boating when we purchased C-Dancer. It's amazing how much I've learned in two seasons on the water and from all this info from this site.

IMHO, a swim step is almost a necessity. You can buy rod holders to use while fishing, they're fairly inexpensive. You don't NEED downriggers to fish, only if you plan on fishing frequently. You don't NEED radar but would be nice to have.

As Les said, it all depends on how you plan on boating.

I thought RADAR was a necessity and all boats should have it? (The only
correct answer to my question is: yes, Mike, of course. You should convince
Bonnie ASAP to buy a RADAR. It is a great safety device, no matter how
or where you boat. Heck, even in the driveway, it can help locate dangerous
thunderstorms.)

Tom & Shan: What did you end up naming your CD-19 Angler????

Nice looking boat for sure.

Yes... Les @ E.Q. is a great person, that truly wants people/families to enjoy their boat...for just how THEY plan to use the boat. Often, particuarly at the larger dealerships, you will not find that individual care, attention...or time....they just want to move the hulls they have in stock and move to the next person...often, selling them the wrong boat for their use....and in the long run...possibly keeping that family/person from truly enjoying their boat. And...Les has the advantage of his Father...ol Dusty...to sea trial the boats for that hands on this works...or does not work feedback. What a team. What a dealership. What a joy to know someone really wants you to enjoy the boat you buy from them... Kinda makes for repeat customers too. CoolSmile Thumbs Up
