Truely amazing restoration. Beautiful job--and sure am glad that someone is taking the time and money to restore these treasures.

Maybe I missed it, but even though the frames are massive, did they check the frames below the water line? I see where some planks were replaced and some sanded--but wonder if she was refastened and if the frames in the keel area were inspected?

There are pictures in there some where were they pulled the boat out and did some refastening near the bow. I will have my eye out for her when up north this winter. one of the other boats. the "yellowfin".you can see pic if you follow the links to the wooden boat show sites. She is for charter at $55,000 a week. Saw her on the travel channel last week. cheapest charter on the show.
