Hit mud yesterday in the Delta on my 22, giving wide berth to a fellow fisherman. Ran aground for an uncomfortable minute. Later as I ran my hand over the prop checking for dings, I noticed that one of the blades was bent. (I kinda think the blade was bent last year, as I could never get more than 5.5mph with a light load.)
I'll probably replace with a Comprop, but what size to get? I gather from reading posts in the prop forum that the Honda factory prop is for a smaller, lighter boat, and that I need to get higher RPMs.
Recommendations? _________________ C-Dory Addict

I assume that this was on your 9.9 Honda? Get the largest diameter which will work for that engine and a low pitch. I believe that you can get a 10" diameter by 6.5" pitch four blade prop. I wouldn't expect a lot over 6 knots. _________________ Bob Austin
