Well with the new regs coming out March 1st this weekend was our last chance of getting a 72" keeper in the boat so I had to head out for a overnighter Friday.I met up with of few friends all ready anchored on the river.
It was a eventful night with me hitting a submerged log on the way down but luckily the only damage was a broken transducer bracket.
But it all paid off when my friend pulled in a healthy 70" 85 lber on his maiden voyage in his new Duckworth.

Are sturgeon edible?
Hell yes. Sturgeon are great baked, deep fried, grilled etc.....The meat is white and firm. |
