Thomas E. Colvin, naval architect & yacht builder, refers to the #1 and #2 bucket as the "Thunder Mug".
On the other hand our grandsons would be in deep doo-doo (and loving it) with all this "Potty Talk".

And now, for your pleasure, the Heated Toilet Seat by CLEANBUTT with heated seat, deodorizer, warm water rinse, and and oh so gentle, blow dryer! Only $549.00, unless, of course, you buy it in a marine chandelery, in which you get the NMEA Certified sparkproof model, and the price is $1549.00. Now available with REMOTE CONTROL for $649.00!

P.S.
It's a little hard to believe at first that the link above is for real, but (with only one t), it is.
Do you think offering one of these as an option on a C-Dory would be a great selling point with THE ADMIRAL?
Reminds me of the days when our kids were in diapers and I got the very logical common sense idea that the best solution would be to dip their behinds down into a bowling ball washing machine.
Sorry about the number 2 post!

It also restores dignity, independence and self confidence as it relates to a very personal and private lifestyle activity!
I want to know who thought up that advertising copy. They had to reach way down to get this one out. too funny
How did you find that site Joe

Jeff-
I was using Google to find a reference to the infamous $625 heated toilet seats that were purchased by the Air Force for their B-52's back a couple of decades ago. As I remember it, Senator William Proxmire had a periodic awards program (The Fleecing of America) where he exposed government excesses. (I may be wrong on some of these remembered details!)
When I came across the ad, I forgot to pursue the above incident, as the ad was much more bizarre and funny itself!

Kohler also makes a heated toilet set for only $159--run it off the Eu 1000 generator! Also there are several other heated toilet / Bidet seats on the internet. _________________ Bob Austin

Now to put all this toilet stuff to rest..........................
We just got back from the lake and decided to put Joe's advice to the test........so I sat on it for the whole weekend, fell off a couple of times while underway.........no serious injuries to report and read two novels to boot. I would say it was a very successful weekend. Saved money as well on the RV antifreeze!
Thanks to all for helping out!
I promise never to be a potty mouth again.

so if a person buys the heated toilet seat, and runs it off the little Honda generator, how many watts per squat should a person figure on? _________________ Ken

Actually at 115 watts, it would suggest that an inverter would be a better way to do--probably put it on a timer, and only turn it on 30 min. before squat... |
