WHEEEEWWWWWW............what an ordeal but interesting.
All I know is that I snoozed and "losed". It is a long way to drive to get it but at that price it was worth it.

Alandgin....You are correct in that there is a good buy on a CD out there somewhere. If you know one on a 25' pass it on please.

Merry Christmas to all.

Regarding Bob Austin's "first man with the cash" ideology.
Bob is very correct and true in his reply as I was the man who bought his boat.
Bob was/is a man of his word and it was a pleasure to meet him let alone buy the C-Pelican from him.
Shoot, after all the extra's he threw in and problems he compensated me for, the "cash" I paid was even less as he honored any and all problems and I look forward to boating with him as time allows.

Brats,
I spoke with C-Dory today and they are instantly, overnight Fedexinig a new MSO document to rectify the hull number issue. Apryll there is more than accomodating, thanks to her. I didn't get into the logistics of how it happened or how chronologically things worked out, at this point, I don't care. She just volunteered: "It happens". I'm just glad it's going to work out for Mark and Carol. We should have a new title in hand in no time. In the meantime Mark can take the boat and sleep on it in his driveway....I would!

Considering the fact there are not that many used 25's out there for sale, and the cost of a new one, I would say that the buyers were struck with luck in getting one at that price.
That I believe we won't see happen again for a long time .
I know I wouldn't sell ours for under $70K as equipped. Wow, what a deal they got. Congratulations
.

Glad it is all working out for all. And..yes, I too would love to buy a boat behind Bob.... Not saying he is real knowledgeable and anal about his boats (Sorry Bob...you gotta be able to get your head out the door in the morning)....but for sure, it will be a vessel that has been went over from bow to stern...and improvements made on the entire journey.

Bob...looking like we may need to do an Mid-Jan gathering... I am begining to miss the salt air..
