Tom,

All the A1 hose I have installed has the 'USCG A1' printed on the hose. Without the printing, you are depending on that guy who says it is 'A1'. If there is a fire, will 'that guy' be there to assure the authorities about the grading of that hose?

If the vacuum in a fuel supply hose gets too high, the motor can be damaged by running too lean. In a two stroke, a lean burn can melt pistons. Four strokes, and I think fuel injection are less sensitive to that problem.
