Hey Les -

I got your latest email, and I like it. Not only will we be able to get the trailer here tomorrow, it looks like I might just get Sunday off work so I can put the boat on it.

Here's what you have to look forward to:

Tomorrow (Saturday) Kay and Karla and at least two dogs, maybe three, will be leaving here at 8:00 am or so heading north. They will get there whenever they do with the proper hardware to tow the new trailer home.

Kay won't have any problems towing the empty trailer, but give her the deluxe lecture about how long it is, just the same.

Thanks for keeping after those guys. The timing, just like everything else involved so far with our new TyBoo25, is perfect.

Mike

Oh, and Les - Would you kindly sell my wife a new oil filter and inline fuel filter for the Honda 130. (No sales tax for Oregon buyers!) I gotta get 'er ready to float in Cornet Bay for a couple of days (the boat, not my wife).

So, let's see...you want me to send Kay swiming and teach the dogs to back the trailer? And Karla can take photos. Got it!

The last I heard, the trailer pickup crew was at exit 111 on I-5, and they had just seen a Walmart coming up. Oh crap. They might be hours. Then southern girls do like their Walberg stores.

Lessee,

Mike, if you're looking at this from work the Dogies and Darlings left about 1430 or so; should be south about Olympia now if they didn't find some more stores.

Kay introduced us to your new dog Skipper; your dog. HeHeHe! Very Happy

Thanks Les!

The crew and the trailer made it home just fine. My, that's a big one!

How come not to use the fuel filter if not needed?

I'm guessing, If it ain't broke, don't fix it...
But that doesn't do much for the price of toilet paper....

OK - here I go. Gonna put TyBoo's boat on TyBoo's trailer and see what gives. I hope it doesn't pull the Jeep in two. If you never hear from me again, it's because they threw me in jail for having too heavy a boat for the rig on a trailer that isn't licensed.

Jeep wrote the book on CD towing! Jerked it out of there like I knew what I was doing. I am having a little trouble jockeying it around on the wet grass in the back yard, but we'll get it parked where I want it.

There is a little adjusting to do, but not much. It is sitting on only the inner two bunks, and the side guides are a little tight. Other than that, she looks good. The tongue weight feels about right, and the jack wheel doesn't hit the ground, so I don't know what else you could ask for. Something to tow it with, maybe.

OK, I'll be outside and I mustn't be bugged. My new boat is at the house!

Mike, I'll bet that would be quite a sight to see the Jeep towing that motor yacht down the road. Home to the dry dock at last, let the gagdetfication begin Smile

Mike,
That sounds pretty neat about the boat in the dry dock and all. Did the same with the Lynn Marie this week-end only mine was a hard jockey in the driveway with the big tow rig. Sold the small truck that worked fine so it was a new learning curve, We seem to do that a lot with C-Dories.

It's got to be exciting to have that new canvas on your easel at last, Does Kay know she may not see you now till Thanksgiving? Got a flyer on the new West Marine Grand Opening this week-end. Going up to see Judy's dad just down the street so plan on stopping by. You need anything for your projects let me know.

Keep thinking the Stimpster will bring up his old thread about what we did on our C-Dories. liked it with his name as the author. Maybe he'll see this and get us started before you get started.

See you at Englunds, Tim

Hey, Tim, that's a good idea. Let's wait for Stimpy to begin a new What Did You Do On Your C-Dory Today, thread. Or one of us could, and claim all the glory.
