The boat was light and narrow. Most jet powered hulls shape the chine to give the hull good tracking ability, to make up for the lack of a rudder. This hull “originally anyway” had no provision for directional stability. The original owner would take the boat to speed and then spin the wheel resulting in a 360 plus degree spinout. Didn’t keep it from catching fish however, there’s been a lot of fish blood on her decks.

Thanks for the info Mark.

Sounds like it would be a fun boat.

Little did I know the add for my boat would generate such interest. The only reason I am selling it is that my wife is a spoiled brat and insists on something bigger. Personally I have loved it. It is super fast and since I added a control fin to the jet nozzle it handles much better. To bad the engineers didn't come up with that. It is special and unique, which is why it caught my attention in the first place. Now that I know that it is haunted and a collectors item , maybe I should raise the price?? Don't forget, It is a C-Dory so wave if you see me flying by. Alex.

Don't know how much bigger you are looking for but have you looked at the 25' C-Dory or the TomCat? Both super nice boats.
