Got to browsing on the internet http://www.portableboatlift.com and came across this devise for lifting your boat off a trailer. Seems a little expensive and maybe overkill, but...know anybody who can weld, has a sense for engineering, hangs upside down from a boom?

Sorry, Swee Pea, I do not know anyone who can weld and hangs upside down from a boom...maybe Red Fox, but I have never heard of him hanging upside down from a boom...Laughing

My first thought - great for painting the bottom.

My second thought - with my luck we'd have an earthquake and I'd be wearing the Jenny B.

It seems simple enough that duplication using wooden beams and a couple of boat winches might be feasable for occasional use.

I'll bet Red Fox will be creating one within 96 hours of reading this thread.... Laughing
