I'm really looking forward to your photo essay when you return! I sure wish I were able to tag along but not this year! _________________ Gary Johnson

Report #1!
David is underway on Anna Leigh! He left Snoqualmie Valley about 2:00 pm yesterday with Jim Browning, did some last minute shopping, drove to Guemes, and got launched in time to get over to Jones Island, where they spent last night. This afternoon he called from Comox, where they are spending tonight. So it looks like they will have the better part of two full days to explore Desolation Sound waiting for us to get there Sunday afternoon, as Comox to Refuge Cove is only about 40 miles - he called me from Comox at about 2:00 p.m. today, so he could have made it from Jones Island to Desolation Sound fairly easily today had he wanted to. He reports the Strait of Georgia was mostly calm. _________________

Pat,
Missed wishing David at safe and happy trip. Hope you have a great trip.
We will leave PR early tomorrow unless the weather changes. We will try for Foggy Bay; or, if conditions are perfect - Ketchikan. _________________ George and Penny

David, Pat and crew members,
Be safe and have a blast. Dee and I are looking forward to pictures and posts.
We'll sit in the back of the boat in the driveway admiring our new camperback and have a sundowner with you tonight.

Wish I was up there in the mix of my C-Dory friends...maybe summer 07 I will be. Safe travles to all and keep the post, emails, and photos coming from all of you. So I think once Pat gets up there we have 6 C-Dory owning/C-Brats cruising the area?? George, Casey, Bill, Chris, Pat, David...and their boat mates.... Am I missing anyone?? |
