I was recently quoted $800 for the 200 hour service on a Honda BF150. They said it would cost this much because they would do, and change, "a lot of stuff".
Does anyone know if this is a reasonable charge for the service?

No, that is not even remotely in the ballpark by me...I had the 100 hour service at C-Dory, don't recall the bill, but it ws nowhere near that, and I doubt the 200 hour service is any different.

Minnow Hi
I am from Minneapolis.... You could fly me in pay for all the parts and still come out way ahead after paying for my beer! Beer Beer Beer Laughing

Just be glad you asked the question before you paid the 800. Cry

I can see where it could be a bit spendy if they replace all the fluids and filters, replace impeller, adjust the valves and adjust all the linkages. Shops have to make a buck, plus deal with Uncle Sam and related enviroment issues.......still, it seems a bit spendy
