2006 C-Dory 16’ “Cruiser” For Sale, $29,900
Setup for Fishing, Cruising & Exploring
This sturdy little vessel is fully loaded and ready for leisurely day or overnight fishing trips, weekend cruising or exploring fresh or salt water shorelines. With its modular Sunbrella and stainless steel tube full cover enclosure system you’ll be completely protected in any type of weather. With two batteries instead of the normal one and the 100W solar panel you’ll have power for overnight stays without having to run the engines. The Tri-Metric battery monitoring system will always let you know if your batteries need recharging. For those who want to drop a hook in a quiet bay and stay overnight, you’ve got a reliable anchoring system with your Delta anchor and a cozy cabin that sleeps two in the V-berth. You’ve got emergency marine communication and weather information on your Standard Horizon VHS radio and if you need to use a laptop, there’s a 300W inverter to power it. Multiple USB charging adapters will charge your phone so you won’t have to worry about running out of power there either. With two 6.6gallon fuel tanks you’ll have more distance to explore before having to refuel. For fisherman, the Honda 5hp will provide a quiet and efficient trolling motor and can be used as a backup if the “big” Honda runs out of fuel. And with the eight stainless steel Burnewiin gunwale mounts there’s all kind of options to mount downriggers, fishing poles and other fishing accessories in the cockpit. She’s lightweight and a dream to tow with your car—no truck needed. And because she’s so compact, she can be stored in your backyard just as we did. We’ve taken good care of her and we think you’ll find her a joy to own and use.

What a well scripted ad for a C Dory! This seems like one of the best equipped 16's I have seen.
The Craigs List: Quote: | This posting has been flagged for removal. | . so no photos. Apparently you have accidentally violated the CL terms of use. I have never seen this before, and I am sure is not intentional.
You do not seem to have a photo album. You can add photos directly to a post on the Boats for sale by owner thread.
I would love to see photos. Might I buy a 16 cruiser?..well, doing as well as I am currently at almost 89, I would rather buy a 16 than have cosmetic dental work! _________________ Bob Austin

The photographs show an exquisitely built out and maintained boat. It looks like new, and is probably one of the best outfitted 16' C Dorys I have seen. The seller apparently had some minor details with Craigs lists "rules", and tells me in a PM that it will be posted again.
I think anyone looking for a 16 cruiser should strongly consider this boat. If it were closer to me, I would buy it without hesitation, if the motors check out at sea trial. (Which I suspect they will easily.) |

Great photos that really show the boat and condition! Combined with the written details, this shows a well-equipped boat. This is how a for-sale ad should be presented. |
