New boat

Got home yesterday with my new to me Tomcat. After considering many different options for transporting the boat, I ended up towing it from Bellingham, WA to Anchorage, AK. Unfortunately I'm not as good a writer as some other on this site but for a long story short, it all went well and was an uneventful trip.

I talked to many Tomcat owner before making the jump and I'm very thankful to all for they willingness to share informations. I would also like to give a special thanks Dr Bob for all the help and advice he gave me on my quest to find a Tomcat.

Before taking the boat home, we got to enjoyed the San Juan Island for a few days. Made it to Friday Harbor then to Sucia island. That is a great cruising ground, different then home and so glad I got to enjoy it for those few days. Unfortunately our schedule did not allow for being there during the gathering, that would have been great to meet a lot of you guys, maybe some other time.
