Hello Everyone!
I’m looking for a radar arch for my 22 cruiser. Nothing special, preferably used to save money. Looking to improve my sea worthiness. Mostly use my boat on lakes but want to do more on the ocean as I gain experience and my kids get older.
Thanks for your time and all those who keep this site running. It has been a big help to me!
Thanks again,
Connor

Conner,
I just received my new radar arch from Tanner Manufacturing. I opted for the tall arch because I wanted to be able to put my dingy underneath it. I also changed my order for 2ea additional antenna plates (two plates on each side) when my initial quote was for only one plate on each side. I also wanted the rocket launchers, 3 each on each side welded on (makes it really cool looking and I think worth the extra $600) and optional welded on hinging assemble so it will fold down into the cockpit for transportation and storing in my 12' garage. Also, ask for two welded tabs for cockpit lights and two tabs forward for your future lightbar! I added two more antenna plates to mine too at about $140 each. The lead time for delivery was 90 days, but well worth the wait. I picked mine up at their Bellingham shop (saved a lot on delivery) and it fit into the back of my Honda pilot with the back seats folded down. It's an easy install bolting the arch to the top of my boat, however, installing all the goodies on it takes some time (pulling cables and wires through the tubes) but not too terrible hard. I am going to do my best to make the Friday Harbor gathering this May 2024 where it can be viewed there. (That might be the best place to make your decision after talking with people at that gathering.) Here is my quote from Tanner in August 2023:

Factory Tall Radar Arch for 22' C-Dory Cruiser $1,795.00
1 1/2" dia. #316-L Mirror Polished #8 Stainless Steel
Radome Plate
Two Antenna Plates (I added two more plates)
Swiveling Anchor Light
Two Crossmembers Each Side

Welded-On Rod Holders $110.00 ea. (I bought 6 total, 3 on each side)
Optional Hinging Assembly $550.00 (for folding arch down)
The arch has 24" of clearance underneath, from the roof to the underside of the arch (not the raised area in the center). The width of the arch is 63 1/2" on-center aft, 62" on-center forward.
Prices do not include installation, shipping, or sales tax.

Regards,
Brian Fortner
(Not a wannabe anymore but true c-brat since Sept 2022 and picture album to come when figured out how to upload... )

Do you have pics of the assembly folded down? What is your minimum clearance with boat on trailer and arch folded down? What radar? My "boat barn" has a 10' door opening so that's my limit. Thanks.

I have one you can have if you come pick it up. Look in my album under boat pics when new or something like that. I'm on my phone, so can't post the picture. PM me if you're interested in it. I'll be out of town for a week starting Friday.
