Definitely can but won’t work for my application. Running them on the bottom. I think I’ll end up making a triangle shaped bracket on the starboard side of the splash well. |

Reelin2. Going over your album I see that you have done some really great modifications and innovations. Could we convince you to annotate the photos by telling us what the photo represents; the how and why? It appears as if you got a boat which was beat up and possibly put to bed wet. It is now a pearl! You did some very good work.
Does the Reel windlass hold all chain, or is it backed by DYNEEMA or similar cordage?
Are there more modifications?--and tell us a little more about the 3rd down rigger. I wondered if you put it on a "triangle shaped bracket on the Starboard side of the splash well, if there is any chance of the line to the pot off of it, potentially could get tangled in the main engine prop ? For example a strong cross current, and you are using the main motor to counter that or similar potential issue. Or are going to be using that down rigger when under power with the kicker? Will the helm in the cockpit be hooked up to both outboards or just the main or kicker?
I see a lot of detail, which would make that boat like new--well done! _________________ Bob Austin

I have seen some mounted back by the stern cleats. Maybe one of the telescopic long arms so you can angle in to the center a little bit. I can just see me winding the cable around the prop that could be a problem. It might be a little hard to work with back there. |

(Will do, I’ll work on getting some descriptions on the photos. Looks like you have done a ton of work over the years as well).

(The EZ Anchor is the best upgrade I’ve made, would definitely do over. It Carrie’s 30ft 1/4 chain, 150’ 3/8” nylon and another 150’ 5/16” dyneema for fishing)
