Looking for a 16 or 19

I’d prefer a 19, but would look at the right 16.

Check this site every day, where it says "C Dory for sale by owner" on then home page the lower right.

Also check Craig's list nationwide, Boat Trader, Yacht World, and other large boating sites. The 19's are fairly rare birds, and seem to sell fairly fast. The 16 you want to determine if you want the cruiser or the angler.

Good boats sell rapidly--some on the first day. You snooze you loose as the old saying goes.

searchtempest.com is a web crawler that searches all the Craigslist ads within the radius you set from your home zip code. It’s not perfect, but it does a very good job.

Search using CDory or Dory with spelling different ways. Like C Dory or C-Dory. Just Dory will work, but you get a lot of other boats to sort through.

Thanks for your input! Doing all the above often but will start checking the c brats site daily.

As far as a cruiser vs an angler, probably prefer the cruiser but seeing as I have a very comfortable sailboat for camping and only spent 3 nights on it in 12 years, an angler will work. I mainly want to explore South East rivers…sailboat not so great for that.
