I just discovered the c-dory and fell in love Very Happy

Looking for a 22 cruiser or a 23 venture. I live in Naples, FL but Im willing to travel to find my c-dory. Can someone help me find one? Thanks

Just bought our 26 Venture last year, so can't help you with finding one. But I did notice your username. We will be starting the Great Loop in October in Chicago. Judging by your username, you've either been there and done that already, or you're planning to. I'm wondering if the trawlerites will allow us to join them for docktails. Wink

Every day check this site: "for sale by owner".(on the home page, lower right) Check the C Dory owners Facebook page. Check USA Craig's list, Boat Trader, etc.

There is a good chance you will have to travel some distance. You should get a survey/sea trial on any boat you buy. I purchased all of the C Dory I owned except one, at least 1000 miles from my home. The Tom Cat was new, and about 200 miles to the dealer.

Also read a number of the threads on this site, ref problems with the C Dory. They are not for everyone's needs, you have to understand the ride, and how to make the boats perform best.
