So, as I mentioned in a earlier post I recently purchased a 2008 cdory 25. There is a rear helm with steering wheel only. I want to be able.to control the boat from the cockpit at times. I reached out to Tom n Jerry's and they suggested it was not a good idea to install throttle controls but instead of that they suggested remote steering control. Do3s anyone here have any comments or advice as to which route to go. And by the way the boat has twin 90s. Thanks, Terry Alexander |

Terry, ask one of the two system administrators to give you a photo album. You have to upload your photos to that, and then you can embed them into your post. I have a 25 with a cockpit helm. I have a main and a kicker. I also have a throttle at that cockpit helm station for the kicker. That's the only location of the kickers throttle. The main's throttle is at the cabin helm. The steering is hydraulic and I can steer both motors from either helm. That is because the kicker has linkage and a cable to the main. Colby |
