I have a Ram 3500 with Cummins HO. Tow capacity is.... ridiculous, 35,000#.
I had a 1500 that I used to pull it in and out of the water and around the marina. I wouldn't take it down the road with that. The 3500 is the machine for that boat and trailer. I haven't taken a long trip, but will soon. I'll keep you all informed.
Best,

I also have a Ram 3500, great truck, but overkill for a C-dory. I went over the grapevine and Tejon pass towing our boat yesterday on I 5, with the exaust brake on I never needed the brakes all the way down, there is something to be said for overkill! _________________ Micah Curtis and Dana, RN

I believe that you set a new record between initial and secondary response on the same subject. Hopefully your life is back on track, and you can get on with the very serious subject of choosing what boat will be best for you. Welcome back!! _________________ Bob Austin
