This is not a crab pot davit--but could be used for that:
http://garhauermarine.com/catalog_process.cfm?cid=41
I installed the davit on the aft stb side of my 22 cruiser--it allows me to pick up the kicker and put it on the bracket, pick up the inflatable or a full ice chest. I have a bad back--and this beats lifting. The falls are long enough to take an item from the ground when the boat is on the trailer or from a dock. There is a plastic ball on a SS plate which I screwed to the bottom of the boat, and a collar which the pipe fits thru to the foreward part of the motor well. The davit is in three parts and stows easily. I am considering putting a second mount so I can hoist the inflatable to the cabin top.
A reel winch or self tailing winch could be placed on the shaft and just one of the sheves used for crab pots. _________________ Bob Austin

Roger on the Sensei,
Thanks, I'll check out the site. The lovely Terrie works in Vancouver so she can pick some up if they have it.

Jon,
I don't know if there is a Haggens grocery store in your neck of the woods, but they carry the "c-dory brewsky brothers" beer there. It is sold in a large bottle.
At the Blakely Island Gathering we finished off a keg that they brought in about 2 to 3 hours. _________________ Dave S.

After posting the above, I got to thinking that they ought to create a new brew entitled "C-Dory Grog", the Seafarer's Brew. |

DaveS,
I like it!!! Seriously though, the CD factory folks would probably frown on that kind of infringement. But , C-Grog or CD Ale or something like that might be insider enough .
Or , Angler Ale or Cruiser Stout or.......... |

Hey, that's a good idea, and those are some clever names. Brat Brew 22 just might fly. Let's make a formal proposal to the Brews Boys and see if they're hip to that much coolness.
Hey, 16' Jon, thanks for your invite a couple dozen posts ago. Could happen. |

In fairness to all of those who are not in possession of a 22' , I think a more "non-length" name would be more appropriate. Remember, there's no "I" in beer :angel.
I do like Brat Brew though! Jon |

A few posts back, DaveS wrote about "the seafarer's brew". Did he really mean "C-farer"
Might be a good name. Just can't get one by you DaveS . |

That's why my boat is named "Sea Shift" after my assigned work schedule on "C Shift". |
