I know that there are 100's of pages in here on the subject but I don't want to spend till Christmas to find it. My Wallas works sometimes and then other times it doesn't even seem to have power to the switch? Turn on high, hit the switch and no light? Batteries are new and fully charged.

I will be replacing with a Webasto or Espar furnace and then doing a single burner alcohol or butane burner for cooking.

Thanks for the direction to possible maintenance and troubleshooting pages. Want to get it operating right before selling.

look for loose connection and/or corrosion in the wiring. On mine, there is 2 set screws for the main power at the stove unit, I will start there.

My Wallas heater quit working. Fuel pump wasn't working, called Scan Marine in Seattle. Was taking out of boat and inspecting, getting ready to take for service. Noticed one of the 4 wires from the fuel pump to set screws hanging loose. Put wire in and it fired up.

I agree that checking all wires to make sure they are tight is a good first step.

You might also just call Scan Marine in Seattle for some guidance.

I will be pulling out of the boat tomorrow. That will be my project for the day. Clean connections, check fuses and look for loose wires. I will keep you posted. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
