Althogh its not entirely fish , our friend Chris has some great recipes and a great restaurant in Birmingham. He pays homage to the Gulf Coast and some great food producers.

Marc,
This is a small world, we love The Hot and Hot Fish Club. Come to visit your son and we can drive down to Birmingham. Notice you have another Classic on your lot. Hope things are looking up for you and we see a turn around soon. It has been chilly here but the honda 2000 with a ceramic heater keep me toasty.

What kind of fish? I do have some good salmon and halibut recipes that I would be willing to share if that's what you are cooking... _________________ tom |

Phaidon publishing has put out a book of seafood recipes culled from it's larger book "Silver Spoon"' which is apparently the best selling cookbook in Italy, their equivalent to our (American) quintessential cookbook: "The Joy of Cooking." This smaller, seafood only version of the "Silver Spoon" is titled: "Fish, Recipes from the sea." (ISBN# 978-0-7148-6387-0)
I found my copy at Costco a few weeks back, so if interested (and you also shop there) you might try looking there before Amazon.
It's loaded with great fish recipes that cover a variety of styles of fish and shellfish, and would definitley be worth adding to the cookbook shelf.
Bon Apetit. |

Check out Ladonna Gunderson's website at http://ladonnarose.com/
I don't get a kickback or have any affiliation other than she lives in Ketchikan, like me, and she has written several great cookbooks for using our local seafood. She and her husband have a two person trolling operation and her recipes were developed for cooking their fresh catch on the boat.
There are some great recipes in her first book. I'm not so familiar with the later ones.
