OK, for Raymarine C Series owners (we have the C-80), here is a Raymarine PC Waypoint Excel data file archive.xls, with 100 great Washington / BC waypoints. These are MOSTLY places we have been, and a few places we intend to go. Most lat/lon coordinates are from the Douglass books. If you have a Raymarine C-Series GPS chartplotter, you NEED to get PC Waypoint, get it here - it is a free download from Raymarine. You will need a CompactFlash memory card (I got a 256 MB card from Buy.com on closeout for $10) and a USB card reader, about $20 at at lot of places. You input data into the specially formatted Excel spreadsheet, run it through PC Waypoint, and it is converted to a file archive.fsh that the C Series chartplotters can read. With power off, take out your Navionics chart card, put in the CompactFlash, hit the Data button and then use the soft keys to bring in the waypoints. Power down and swap back to the Navionics and you are in business!

Great files!! I have a C-70 (Vancouver Boat Show amazing low price) on the way and have been getting genned-up via the Raymarine site, especially the entering/transfer of waypoints from spreadsheets (I use OpenOffice) with a CF card. We will probably hit Princess Louisa around the time you guys will be there - launching from French Creek.
Cheers - Dave

Are the two download links for different lists? The both have the same address. Don't have Excel so I can't open them to tell.

Nope - can't figure that out, there is only one file, but it appears twice...[on edit - got her fixed, now there is only one file showing up...]

If you downloaded archive.xls and found the spreadsheet locked (plus it has a bunch of unnamed waypoints in it), try downloading again. I have uploaded another version, this one has triangles and anchors as waypoint symbols, the first one had diamonds, so that is an easy way to tell them apart. I think what happened was that I converted archive.xls to archive.fsh, transferred to the C80, then transferred from the C80 back to the CF card, thinking I would pick up some manually entered waypoints - I did, but I think on reconversion from fsh to xls, it also locked the spreadsheet. Not sure but that seems like a good guess. For my part, I will not try saving from the C80 to the CF card again, I will treat this as a one-way street.
