Yes. I was wondering the same, and if it is air tight:
1. Is it a sealed compartment, thinking flotation?
2. Is there and inspection port with access to that space?
3. If not sealed, is the access for storage there? think water skiis, or ground tackle or spare props?
Thank you Mark. And for adding the notations.

Is that by chance the Venture 23 that is being build for me? Marty at Master Marine just sent me some photos of my build. Is this one and the same?

I got a quick note from Mark today. The subject of this thread is indeed the boat NMI is building up for Joanie & I - very exciting? Wait to you see the upholstery color selection!
Anyone care to throw out any name suggestions? _________________ Steve & Joanie

Steve & Joanie,
Congratulations on the soon to own a super cool cruiser.
If I was choosing a name for a boat in the NWP, I'd go for a fish or bird of the region. Sandpiper hits both of those. _________________ Steve Baum

Steve,
Is there any theme you may want to follow; anything of special significance that may narrow it down? We focused on the legacy of Colleen's parents, who introduced her to boating. "DayBreak" was her Mom's favorite time of day; she took 100's of sunrise photos in the San Juans. _________________ Gary F

Hey, Steve and Joanie, I'm excited for you. Your boat's a little ahead of schedule, no? I'm sure Daybreak agrees with me, you're going to love it. I'll tell you, after 578 hours on my 23', it's still a brand new thrill every time I fire her up for another adventure. (Then again, all our C-Dorys give us that feeling!)
For what it's worth, Catnip was a very close second to Songbird for boat name. |

Morning Steve and Joanie,
That is very cool that you get to follow your build. Nice to know that she will be ready to launch this spring. Looking forward to seeing her completed.

Brock,
Steve and Joanie will certainly enjoy their new C-Dory. The build is ahead of schedule but I'm sure they don't mind. I have seen Steve post about joining him and Joanie October, 14th 2023 for the Annular Solar Eclipse on Lake Powell. That would be a great time to assemble together as an event for C-Brats. We are excited also for them both with the coming soon of their Venture 23.
Steve, looking forward to seeing your new upholstery selection. The suspense is killing me. |

Thank you guys for the comments, and some things to think about in selecting a name for the new boat.
Right now the working name is: Covfefe |

Nice! I can virtually smell the fiberglass & resin, and feel the dust! |
