I still like my 3/4" Bedrug in both the cockpit and cabin

It's loose and you can dump it easily

And it's way great to walk on too

Wish I could get the corrugated material like what fits in my truck bed where the water would actually run under it; that would be way good

I bought ten by six piece for about a c note and cut it to fit

What was left is really nice to kneel on while working in the driveway

One note, both the hydraulic steering system and the trim reservoir were very low on fluid, and topping them up made a huge difference. I used OMC hydraulic fluid (In the 10 ounce tube, which I keep on board) to top them off. It meets all the listed specs, and at $8, was pretty easy to get.

Where were you able to verify that the OMC trim and tilt hydraulic fluid meets Mil. Spec 5606?

This is what is called for by Sea Star hydraulic steering systems.

here's a list of all the hydraulic oils that are curently qualified as MIL-PRF-5606. The are most likely a lot of other fluids that would meet it that their manufacturers haven't gotten tested against the mil spec. The basic spec is a highly refined mineral based light viscosity oil. I will let you know if there are any problems. OMC hydraulic fluid is approved for marine hydraulics, so I am guessing there are flame requirements to meet. Much like two stroke oil and engine oil, options exist. Would I use it in my hydraulics in my airplane? No, but my C-dory is not certified. nor is it going above sea level.

it has an iso viscosity level of 15 and is thin compared to most oils so it can flow at a colder temperature. This is needed for planes flying in the sky, where it's cooler.
