Hello Brats..Happy Fall:-)
Thinking about getting the windows tinted on our Venture 23.
Thinking just the side windows. Obviously not the fronts.
Not sure on the back windows.
May thinking the backs don't need it. Most of the distracting sun would be coming from there sides. IMO.
Any experience out there?
Thanks

The windows aren't tinted on mine, but I got the chance to ride in a 22 cruiser with tinted windows that belongs to another brat on tuesday and am now considering it myself. It really helps with the glare off the water and the sun coming in. Even on the back windows. _________________ Clay on Hammerhead

Hi Kirk,
We went with the privacy windows in the back on our build and are glad we did so. It affords you privacy even in direct sunlight. It also keeps the cabin cooler on a hot sunny day. A considerable expense from the factory but a great option to consider. _________________ Gary F

The side window but sounds like both of you liked them tinted on the back as well.
Wondering how dark they are on a cloudy day.
Gary, I bet you know the answer:-)
Thanks guys, really appreciate your time. |

Good question. On a cloudy day they look darker from the outside but from the inside it looks quite bright outside. Not sure how that works but we like it. |

Seems like every time I do a search I get a list of hundreds of items and you have to sift through it all to find what you actually searched for... it's a mix of items and most not what you typed in. Sounds like user error on my part. I will try what you suggest and see what comes up.
But thank you very much for including the links... much appreciated:-)

Sounds like a great idea. We have tinted windows in our camper and would not have it any other way.
Thanks for the input.

Kirk, Yes you can get (sometimes tons) of extraneous "stuff", but if you limit your search to a few words that are specific and be sure to do the 2 things, use the AND in caps between the words, and click on the "Search for all terms" circle, it helps. Yes, you still have to do some sorting on your own, but those two "trick" sill help narrow the field.

Great alternative to the factory tinted glass option made by NavyTom for those having a C-Dory without tinted glass.
For those considering a new C-Dory purchase from NMI, the factory option of tinted glass is a good option. The tinted glass from NMI is like that of the factory glass in the automotive industry. |

Highly recommend the tint! My 22 Cruiser's side windows are tinted dark enough to cut down on glare, but not dark enough to block any vision! |
