Thanks Matt for sharing these tips on how to increase casting distance on my Penn reels. I did not know this. This information will enable me to give my reels that extra missing performance which could mean catching a fish or not.

Thanks for that, Gary - glad it will help. As an aside, I really get a kick from updating and using these older reels I have. They really perform well and you just can't kill one it seems. Catch a big one! (and post a pic)
