Moxieabs - I'm so sorry it has taken me months to answer you. I was stationed in Augsburg from 1978-81. Three years to the day. I was in the 534th Sig Co at the radio tower on Reese Kaserne til my security clearance came through. Then I moved to Gabligen Kasern and was part of USAAC. It was a cool 'spy base' with military from all over the world with lots of interesting jobs, but I basically babysat the communications system and had not much to do. I loved Germany, though. It was a great time for sure.
