The Mrs and I are heading to Lake Powell for a week starting 17 October.
Is anybody here going to be there that week? We wouldn't mind crossing wakes if you're going to be out there.
Cheers,

We always try to get to Powell in late September or early October. Via Bullfrog. We will just have to see when it gets closer. Keep the thread active in September. We would like to meet if possible. _________________

Rosanne and I will be heading to Lake Powell on C-Traveler around August 25th and staying until around September 12th. In the past I've used Bullfrog Bay to launch, but both times it was a bitch to get Midnight Flyer off the trailer due to low water levels. The ramp there seems to flatten out right at the water's edge. This time I will be using Hall's Crossing as I believe the ramp is a little bit steeper, and C-Traveler sits a little higher on the trailer than Midnight Flyer did. Colby |

I am also thinking September/October, it has cooled down some by then and the crowds are much thinner. coming from Tucson I usually launch at wahweap or the ramp by the campground. Here is a website worth keeping an eye on though: https://www.nps.gov/glca/april-2020-wahweap-ramp-faq.htm |

Well, the Lake Powell Late Sept/Early Oct thread is doing quite well so I thought I'd give this one a bump.
As much as we'd like to join everybody on that trip, it' just not possible for us.
Sooooo, if anybody is thinking about a later Oct trip my wife and I will up up there most likely starting the 20th, and plan on being there for about a week.
Would love to meet a Brat or two if you're going to be around during that time. |
