Cool. Interesting bottom and some not ideal vis. Quite unlike most places I've dove. The white-tips never bothered me. The gray reef sharks did. And lizards that can hold their breath and swim. Weird!

Oh, way better on a bigger (than a small tablet) screen. Just watched a second full time. Great video but as Tom says, tooooo many Sharks for my comfort..

The white-tip reefs sharks are pretty much harmless and not aggressive. I traveled and dove down in Kwajalein yearly (for work) and they were everywhere. Their behavior only changed if food was involved such as spearfishing. Even then, they were more interested in stealing an easy meal than attacking humans. They were generally docile and we got so used to them, they were literally ignored. Now the gray reefs are a whole, different thing. |
