My boat had the same issue though the wet core was not extensive.
I drilled test holes till dry core was found and was able to remove most of the wet core.
I taped off the holes except for the end ones as they were pretty much in a line.
I got an aquarium air bubbler pump to move air through there for most of the summer. The sun got the core nice and warm and the air movement did the job of drying the core.
I filled the core with an epoxy-microballoon mix and the holes with a stronger epoxy-Cab-O-Sil mixture.
Check the aft sides of the cockpit over the chines, I found some wet core there too. |

Thank you
Any thoughts as to what I might do are truly appreciated
Doubt I'll do anything until after I meet with some of the folks on here in March

Since the balsa is end grain, often the water doesn't make it very far into it. I'd recommend using a smallish drill bit (with tape on it to gauge depth) and drilling a few holes through the topside fiberglass and into the core in the area around the moisture. Start out an inch or so away and work your way out until you find dry core. That will quickly give you a sense of how far it goes. _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

Of course the window latch went flying into the drink
See all the threads regarding same
Remarks are pretty funny
Think my favorite was "they never fly off when the boat is in the driveway"

Never had nearly as much trouble buying a boat as I did this one
Dealer never could get the motor to run correctly
And it took multiple sea trials before I even agreed to take it
First thing I did was take it to the Honda Dealer and have it gone through
OK, so that's no bid deal; nothing I didn't expect already
But,
Noticed tonight when I got my new sticker and trailer tag
that the trailer is not the one on my registration.
Totally different year and manufacturer
Yes, I certainly learned another lesson with this one
Pay better attention
Of course I would have checked it over if I was purchasing directly from the owner
But the dealer actually ordered the tag and registration and had them sent to me in the mail.

Actually figured out the wash-down pump
Was looking for it to be hooked to the auxiliary switch on the dash but no...
Switch was under the gunnel and in turn, under the hose
Right where I initially looked but was too blind to see
Suppose working in the sun helped

What do y'all think about this one?

Alan, I tried to copy the post (but it didn't pick up the picture size like I was trying to show you,) Anyway, I was wondering if you have the option to change the size on your pictures, or if they even show up BIG for you. ON my screen, they are about double the normal size. No real big deal, but it changes the size for the rest of the thread so some of us have to move the screens back and forth for each line in the post.
Just asking and FYI. Does any of this make sense?
Thanks,
Harvey

Great spray nozzle! I could only imagine getting shot by the P.D. while washing my boat. _________________ What ever you are, be a good one 🇺🇸 |

That came directly from Amazon
Don't know why everything seems to be so big when it gets to this site
Been going to work on downsizing my pics from Smugmug
Of course my computer has been infected, or for some reason won't let me upload pics to it
Gonna see what I can do
Certainly no computer geek here,
still got to figure out how to post pics from my phone
Wonder if it has anything to do with my having my screen expanded to 150 percent so I can read the text |

Not a computer geek here either, so not sure what you are doing.
But, IF, you are copying from enlarged pix, like off Amazon they will come over to this site enlarged. Sorry, not much help here, but maybe try just copying from the thumbnail pix, not enlarging it to look at first...
Also, try looking at the "Preview" button before hitting the Post button.
Just trying to help here.

This nozzle might be fine in the US, but I would be careful bringing across the Canadian Border. _________________ Peter & Judy Haase

I'd be careful about using that nozzle anywhere. People have been shot for having less likely suspects in their hands than that, justifiably.

Got home from nine days out and about with the 22 cruiser
Performed flawlessly
Even ran into my fiberglass guy and now it's just a matter of
pinning him down long enough to get the floor patched...
and the roof re-gel-coated; has a thin spot where maybe a dingy was riding.
And, there's no way I would ever buy such a ridiculous item as that spray-gun |
