We have a persistent leak on the starboard berth porthole window. There are no manufacturer markings on these windows. The others are Boman or Diamond Seaglaze.
I think we need to replace the entire gasket rather than clean and reseal which I have done already with no success on slowing the leak. I have no idea where to start other than query the experts— that’s you guys.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Rick and Anita

I sent you a PM, with details. But it is very possible that the "fit" of the port is not as snug as it could be. Pull it, and then check--if not tight, use JB Plastiweld putty to fill in, and make it snug. Then use Boat Life LifeSeal for a plastic window. 5200 is not the best compound to use with plastics. _________________ Bob Austin
